Marjana Krajač (Zagreb, Croatia) is a choreographer, researcher, and dance artist with a Ph.D. degree in Dance Studies from The Ohio State University (2024). Her research examines the concept of dance and its experiment in relation to spatial histories, built environments, and the discourse of space. Her work investigates the intersections of modernism, postmodernism, and contemporaneity in dance, involving site, space, environment, text, media, and process. She has received numerous awards for her choreographic work that explores symptoms, consequences, and temporalities of form. She has published in Movement Research Performance Journal, International Journal of Performance Arts and Digital Media, and Body, Space & Technology Journal. A collection of her essays titled Choreographic Journal: seeing / vidjeti was published as a book in 2018. 

She has presented her research at Princeton University, the Graduate Center at the City University of New York, Birkbeck University of London, Kingston University of London, the Dance Studies Association, Chapman University in Orange, California, the University of Glasgow, Ruhr University of Bochum, The New School, New York University Tisch School of the Arts, the Theatre Academy at Østfold University in Fredrikstad, Saint Louis University in Madrid, the Centre for Expanded Poetics at Concordia University in Montréal, and the Research Academy at Zurich University of the Arts, among others.
