DNB Extension
The Dance Notation Bureau Extension for Education and Research contributes to the mission of excellence at the Department of Dance with a focus on Laban-related studies in the training of dancers and dance researchers. The Extension has a unique and formal agreement with the Dance Notation Bureau in New York City, the only one of its kind in the country.
Dance Wellness
Since 2005, The Ohio State University Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation's Performing Arts Medicine team (PAM) and The Department of Dance have collaborated to address the special needs of the performing artist/athlete. PAM's team of physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, nutritionists and psychologists work closely with dancers, parents, faculty and staff to create an environment of health and wellness.
