Dear Friends and Alumni,
Welcome to the second edition of InForm, a new electronic format for news and stories from The Ohio State University Department of Dance. To maintain more frequent communication with our OSU Dance family, InForm will arrive in your electronic mailboxes every four months.
This edition highlights five major accomplishments of our faculty and students in Spring 2016. Looking forward to Autumn 2016, we invite all of you to join us for three exciting performances. On Sept. 16, Oct. 6 and 27, Ohio State dancers directed by faculty members Karen Eliot and Daniel Roberts will perform excerpts of early Cunningham dances for the Wexner Center exhibition on Black Mountain College. We collaborate with the School of Music to produce the classic Purcell opera Dido and Aeneas in our Barnett Theatre Oct. 20-22. And Dance Downtown 2016 in the Capitol Theatre will feature new works by Bebe Miller, Sofie Clemmensen and Eddie Taketa.
